Melanie won her first seven official BWL fights, a record in BWL history (Caribe won her first five fights before scoring a draw against Louise and winning the next four). Now, she wants to make it eight, but there’s a big problem: his name is Eduardo.
Whooooah guys !! ….what’s all the noise about? … as a girl who in no way matches …nor ever did… the Entropyland inflated ego and boobs girls …I go with Mel’s mould breaking …but …but …so she lost …and about time too… there’s no need in Entropyland for excess virtue mongering… we girls come in all shapes and sizes …we know most of us wouldn’t get near the fitness needed for BWL …but we don’t need ‘boostering’ just because we are a bit porky… seven wins was overdoing the message … it made it ridiculous boys …so perhaps we can get back to somewhere within the range of suspended disbelief…pleeeease !!
Normally I’m not interested in the plot, but I feel this needs saying. Mel had better get her bloody title match. Beginner’s luck or no, 7-in-a-row is championship material.
Back in BWL-676 Paul had 2-in-a-row, & he said a loss wouldn’t affect his title eligibility. Hell, in BWL-515 Chip got a title shot for 2-in-a-row & the first one wasn’t even an official match. This is ridiculous.
“Past performance is not an indicator of future results.” That’s as true in athletics–even fantasy athletics–as in financial management. The athletic version of this is “No matter what the oddsmakers say, on any given Sunday any team can beat any other team.”
This single loss will not end Melanie’s Basement career, and eventually she will earn her way back to a Title shot…but when…and against which Champion? What’s important is that she has demonstrated that she can win, especially against some of the toughest fighters on the roster. This disappointment, this temporary setback, will not destroy Melanie Seitz.
That’s good to know. Cheers mate.
